Port of Rabac

It lies in a natural bay at the foot of Labin on the Eastern shore of Istria. Day 1. Novi Vinodolski – Lopar

Lopar is a small town on the island of Rab, only 12 kilometres from the ancient town of Rab. It is known for its beautiful natural surroundings and the gorgeous sandy beaches. There are several small islands along the coast, such as Goli Otok, Otok Sveti Grgur. In addition, the town has 22 sandy beaches. The most famous is the 1, 5 kilometre long Rajska Plaza with Certification. The town has a unique historical and natural heritage.

Day 2. Lopar – Mali Losinj

The island of Losinj is located on the western side of Kvarner Bay, directly under the island of Cres. The island is long and narrow with a coastline of 112 kilometres. It is a real holiday paradise. The main income of the locals is tourism. The island has breathtaking flora that was planted by sailors arriving from all over the world. There are over 1, 000 plants here; 230 herbs and 80 exotic ones. If you would like to admire the blooming landscape, March and May are the ideal months for visiting. You must definitely try scuba-diving here! Thanks to its geographical characteristics, the sea is protected very well. You can also find the clearest waters on the entire Adriatic here. This is the reason why the place is a great favourite among dolphins and provides a home for around 100 types of fish. They have been organising the Dolphin Day every year since 1993. The main establishment on the island is Mali Losinj, which is an Adriatic town built on the most populated island. Day 3. Mali Losinj – Medulin

If you are in love with sandy beaches, this is your place to visit. Bijeca Beach is Medulin’s well-known coast. This has made the whole vicinity famous. The marina has recently become a busy place crammed with young people. Furthermore, the three islands in the bay are also a must. Their names are Ceja, Brodulas and Leva. Day 4. Medulin – Rabac

Rabac is a small resort town by the coastline on South-East from Labin. The port lies in a small bay protected from the North-East winds. It was previously known as a small fishing village although nowadays it has become a real tourist paradise. If you happen to have a bit of time, put on your bikini and go to the famous Four Elements Beach. The coastline is covered by white limestone pebbles, the sea is crystal-clear and there are lots of rows of oak trees in the bay. Day 5. Rabac – Rijeka

Rijeka lies on the coast of the Kvarner Bay on the East from Rabac. Actually, this is Croatia’s third-biggest city. It is not a well-known destination for tourists; therefore, this is a perfect place for a summer holiday. The town’s heart is the Corso that is a long and wide promenade. During your stroll here you can marvel at the fascinating Baroque buildings, exclusive restaurants and the buzzing nightlife. There are Neoclassical palaces and theatres too. It resembles a Central-European city that is full of boutiques and coffee shops. Another interesting program is when you go to the central market. Day 6. Rijeka – Crikvenica

Crikvenica is the largest town on the coast of Vinodol. In the last twenty years, its territory has expanded to the nearby Selce, so the two have been merged. It is a tourist paradise. The town beach is an enormous beach with Certification, offering several sports facilities. The most unique of them is a famous Croatian game, the picigin. This water polo-like game is played in shallow waters. You can only pass the ball to the next player by only touching it with one palm. During the game, the dedicated players try to keep the ball in the air for as long as possible with all sorts of funny, acrobatic moves. You have to try it! In addition. There are about 250 festivals held annually on the Riviera. Thus, entertainment is guaranteed. If you happen to sail here, look for a romantic scenery for a secret kiss with your loved one. Day 7. Crikvenica – Jesenova-bay Novi Vinodolski

If you are coming from the town of Crikvenica, you should drop anchor at Jesenova Bay. The beautiful pebble beach is very popular among tourists cruising in the area. Take a pleasant walk to the famous Jesennova Monument and admire the gorgeous landscape.

Novi Vinodolski is a well-known tourist destination. The town’s historical heritage is mostly linked to the Frankopan family, with the Frankopan fortresses, castles and unique wood carvings.
