The climate of Roses

Visitors of the holiday resort can expect a pleasant Mediterranean climate with hot summers and mild winters. Port of Empuriabrava

Port Vell

Club Nautic Cambrils

Thanks to the reforms implemented in recent years, the club has two parts. It can accommodate up to 426 yachts between 8 metres and 25 metres in size. Sailing in Roses: Plan for a one-week-long sailing trip

Day 1. Roses – Cadaqués

15.32 km (9.52 mi)
Our first destination is Cadaqués, considered as one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. If you dock here, you should definitely see the Cap de Creus National Park. The temple of the old city, Esglesia de Santa Maria is also worth visiting. The Far de Cala Nans lighthouse provides a breathtaking view of the town and the sea. Day 2. Cadaqués – Empuriabrava

Do you love nature? In the Butterfly Park, we can admire beautiful birds and flowers beside the butterflies. The town has a kart track, and one of the largest parachute centres can also be found here. The Greek-Roman citadel called Sant Martí d’Empúries is also a must-see sight. Day 3. Empuriabrava – L’Escala

Our next destination is L’Escala, a great fishing port and tourist centre. There are fine beaches here, offering diverse watersport opportunities. Interested in the Catalonian culture? Days 4-5. L’Escala – Medes Islands and L’Estartit

This tiny archipelago has a rich abyssal fauna and is very popular among divers. You can go waterskiing and kayaking or play golf as well. The town of L’Estartit is located about 2 kilometres from Medes Islands, and it provides a fantastic view from the Roca Maura hill. Day 6. L’Estartit – Begur

Do you like peaceful holiday resorts? Begur is one of the best choices. It is not only famous for the white Mediterranean houses, but also for the ruins of the Castell de Begur castle from the 17th century. The old city is characterised by narrow streets as well as Moor and Spanish architectural masterpieces.

Day 7. Begur – Llafranc – Roses

A beautiful, sandy beach is waiting for you at this idyllic, peaceful holiday resort. The sea is clean, safe, slowly deepening, making it perfect for families with small children. The town also has great sports facilities: tennis club, diving school, golf courses. The Sant Sebastian lighthouse is located on Sant Sebastian Mountain.
